Beaumont, Texas has contributed more art and artists to the world than most people will ever know. Unknown greatness just happens to course through the veins of many denizens of this small isolated town, including the five core members of the collective known as the Infinite Transmissions Project.
Though all of its members were from Beaumont, only three actually lived there during the years they were recording together (2002–2006). All had played in various groups in Southeast Texas throughout the '80s and '90s, and over the course of five LPs, the group evolved from a one-off tape-trading experiment into a full-blown collaborative endeavor — ostensibly a supergroup culled from some of the best bands in the area.
